Biography :
My long-term career goals include studying molecular and cellular biology of apoptosis. The area of my scientific interest includes the role and functions of suppressor genes and inhibitors of apoptosis in various types of cancer cells, particularly in cells that are resistant to apoptosis. My research interest also includes the effects of microgravity on these cells. The aim of my studies is to investigate the effects of simulated microgravity on cells in culture, such as cellular events, metabolic and signaling pathways, which have been determined in cells under simulated microgravity conditions include cell proliferation, differentiation, the cell cycle and apoptosis.
