Yannan Tian is a researcher at the Southern University of Science and Technology. Her work focuses on the mechanisms of translational regulation, including ribosomal decoding center damage repair and ribosome precursor pathways. Through in-depth studies of RNA ligases, she developed frame-resolved ribosome profiling (frRibo-seq), which substantially improves the interpretability of Ribo-seq data and provides a robust foundation for its broad application in mechanistic and translational research.
